AM 2023 was a great experience. Learning about various forms of writing, such as Urdu and Gurmukhi, was incredibly informative. We also discussed how to hold the nib and the different styles of tools in brief. A deep discussion on the meaning of calligraphy was particularly enlightening. Watching calligraphy artwork in many forms and learning to create handmade and seed paper were highlights of the event. Although I didn’t fully understand all the scripts due to my lack of knowledge in other languages, AM 2023 was a valuable introduction to the diversity of scripts. Overall, it's worth attending, even if just for a day.

To me, it’s such a wonderful experience to listen to various talented artists from different parts of India, learn from them, witness their amazing artworks and doing live performances.

Hello, Am Shalini and I attended Akshar Mahotsav last year. I got to see the art of calligraphy in all it's glory. The journey of the word Sri, the calligrams, Shri N Bhattathiri calliart... I could go on and on. The talks were informative, well presented, structured and inspiring. I so look forward to attending the show this year too along with my children. The event is organised so well that the efforts of the team are to be applauded.

Attending Akshar Mahotsav last year was an unforgettable experience for me. It's a grand celebration of letters, bringing together calligraphers from all over the world under one roof. The wealth of learning from the masters was immense, providing invaluable insights and inspiration. The exhibition was phenomenal, showcasing a diverse range of stunning works that truly captured the essence and beauty of calligraphy. The Navankur section was particularly noteworthy, offering a platform to appreciate and encourage emerging talents. It was heartening to see new artists being recognized and celebrated for their creativity and dedication. Akshar Mahotsav is more than just an event; it's a feeling, a vibe that resonates deeply with every calligrapher. It's this magnetic atmosphere that draws me to Delhi every year, all the way from Rajkot. My heartfelt thanks, congratulations, and best wishes go out to the entire team of Akshar Mahotsav and the Calligraphy Foundation. Hello calligraphy fam🙂 I am Poonam Taparia from Bhopal. Akhshar Mahotsav 23 was indeed an experience of lifetime for me. The hard work that was put in was so inspiring. The humble team always were so kind and grounded. The vibe is so magnetic that I couldn’t miss being there this year as well and meet more and more calligraphers from all over and take back with me great learning experience. Calligraphy has not only become a form of expression but a part of my identity, certainly a journey of self-discovery and growth for me. Special mention to Raghunita ma’am, who’s been a guide and a great mentor. Her passion and drive towards the art is truly amazing. All the best to the team AM for another rocking show. Hi Everyone! I am Rajat Agarwal from Lucknow 🙏🏼 Last year was my second visit to Akshar Mahotsav and it is so delightful to see it grow from a one-day event in 2022, to a three-days festival this year. Hope to see it right on the top of the list of art festivals soon! 🙏🏼 My experience last year was something I'll cherish forever, as not only did I get to meet so many artists I look up to, in person, but also i got this opportunity from The Calligraphy Foundation for a demo session on Basic Devanagari which worked wonders for my confidence and inspiration! And the exhibition was something I haven't even imagined because we are mostly used to Instagram's squares sized posts and seeing the artworks in front of my eyes right there, in different media and artforms was amazing!
